The Aasha Build is being supported by Habitat for Humanity, an international, non-govermental, non-profit organization devoted to building “simple, decent, and affordable” housing for all. These homes are built using volunteer labor at no profit.
Habitat for Humanity has endorsed its support in providing facilitators during the on-site build, and logistical assistance in preparation for the project.
Office of Student Life, Singapore Management University (OSL, SMU)
The Office of Student Life (OSL) encourages meaningful participation in co-curricular activities for an active and balanced life, complementing the educational mission of the university. An important thrust of OSL’s community leadership platform is the Building Communities programme where students are empowered to initiate projects working with overseas communities in addressing social and environmental concerns.
OSL is a very key supporter of The Aasha Build, in terms of motivation, logistics and finances.
